I can’t go online to any of the blogs and sites that I read daily without seeing some article or post on Employee Engagement. I found this one from last October on the Business Execution Blog about the need for employee feedback.
While I wholeheartedly agree with this article, I did find it somewhat inconclusive. Psychologists who understand the world of human behavior know that feedback is only one piece of the human behavior puzzle. Defining and communicating the objectives, measuring results and then feeding back those results along with positive reinforcement of achievement are all important elements of improving behavior and attaining success.
